
When you cut or copy text that includes the endnote reference number, the endnote text is also added to the clipboard. This endnote lets the reader know where you found your information. If you delete only the endnote text, the endnote reference number and endnote structure remain. To delete an endnote, select the endnote reference number that appears in the text, and then press Backspace or Delete. RefWorks creates a new document formatted in the selected style followed by a bibliography (even if you have used Write-N-Cite III to insert the temporary citation placedholders). In your text, add a superscripted number immediately after the quote or reference cited with no space. Endnotes must be listed numerically and consecutively, both in your essay and in your Endnote citation. If the source cited has no author stated, use whatever minimal information is needed to identify the same work previously cited, e.g. Footnotes, which are located at the bottom of each page, acknowledge which parts of the paper reference particular sources.

However, you have to be careful about how that data is entered to ensure that your final citations are correct.


Under this section, you can choose how many columns you want Word to use to display the endnotes. There is no need to wait for one person to work on a document and forward it to you while you sit around wasting valuable time.
